Research your market and audience

The first thing we need to know before we start an SEO effort is to understand your audience.  This is so we can learn what words they use to search for content that we want to rank highly for. We use powerful analytics to understand your audience and inform our strategy.  

The majority of websites will need pages optimised for particular keywords in order to rank organically for them. There are no more clever or black hat techniques to fool search engines.  Search engines like Google have become more sophisticated at detecting content and will consider whatever keywords we focus on will need to work with your overall website.

Technical

We then perform a technical audit to make sure your website is in good shape to be detected by search engines.  We want nothing stopping your site from being crawled and indexed by search engines. We’ll provide an itemised checklist of any issues discovered in a simple and clear way included in our plan to fixing the issue.

Keyword strategy

Even though we completed our keyword research, to better understand our audience it’s now time to put a strategy in place.  We need to analyse the keywords we discovered based on their difficulty, opportunity, and the required work to achieve high organic ranking.  Once we decided on the keywords we will prioritise we will make sure that the pages dedicated are well optimised.

Content Planning

We’ve completed our research and strategy so now is the time to plan our content that will interest our audience.  It’s simple, good and relevant content will sell itself. We’ll put together a comprehensive plan for new landing pages, blog posts, white papers and evergreen content.  We’ll also align this with a social media strategy to make sure our content is consistent across all channels.

Link development plan

We’ve the content created so now it’s time to add our SEO effort as part of a wider PR and marketing plan.  This is to maximise our content exposure and rank more highly on search engines like Google. The plan includes link building activity such as getting links from other publishers, fixing your website’s broken links and outreach to 3rd party companies and bloggers. We’ll put together our recommendations for your market(s) and make sure that any link building activity is correctly implemented.

 

Reporting

Now we’re in the throws of our SEO effort we need a benchmark for tracking our organic search traffic, conversions and performance.  We will prepare scheduled reports to show our progress. You’ll also have a dedicated project manager and account manager for the added peace of mind.
